Day 183 (Wednesday 11/05) - Adventure Tours Day 10 - Free Day : Adelaide

Wake up at 9:30am; breakfast, jogging, shower.

I then go to the Art Gallery, where there are five different expositions (no photos allowed).
One of them is on contemporary aboriginal art, there are some nice paintings.
(it looks the same as the ancient art, except that it's contemporary ... Really :-) )
The others are more classical expositions, with modern art, or landscapes paintings.
Overall it's quite good.

After that, I decide to go to the Desert Park, a park that shows and explains a lot of things about the wildlife in the desert (and there's actually quite a lot !).
As I'm leaving the Art Precinct, I see Byron walking towards me. He's going to the Desert Park too !
(once again, what a coincidence)
So we walk together to the park (8km walk), while chatting.

The park is not very big, but there's still a lot of things to see.
We miss the show on the birds of prey (bad timing, as we stayed too long watching the nocturnal animals - but it was worth it).
There are many different birds (really a lot !) and some animals (the classical kangaroos and emus).

There's also a section on reptiles and nocturnal animals.

We stay there for the whole afternoon, before heading back to the city.

When we get there, it's already dark, and we decide to go back to our hostels, so we can go early to bed as tomorrow the tour starts again and we have to wake up really early.
