Day 189 (Tuesday 17/05) - Adventure Tours Day 16

Wake up at 5:50am.

When going to take my shower, I see a tiny gecko and a tiny frog almost next to each other in the bathroom, so cute ;-)

We leave at 7am.

In the truck, we listen to Ramona's music ... A lot of Italian music, and girly tunes (mostly ABBA) ... (... :-) )

Our first stop is at Yurmikmik, where we have a 45min walk to get to a magnificent place with a big waterfall.
The water is green, and it's temperature is perfect ...
We stay there for a long time, enjoying and having fun.

Just next to the water we see a big toad (15-20cm long ...).
Apparently it's venimous (as most of the creatures in Oz ...)

We then get back to the truck, drive a bit further, and stop for lunch (wraps).

The next stop is at Mourin, a really hard place to find, and to reach.

Again, it's a beautiful swimming spot with a nice waterfall.

When leaving, I see another huge spider ...
(body of about 8cm long, with the legs ~20cm ... horrible !)

After that, the tour is over, and we head back to Darwin.

Again, I check-in at the Cavenagh.
In my room there's a Brit girl from Birmingham (forgot her name).
(there's also another guy, that I will meet later)

In the evening, we go to the Monsoons for dinner with the whole group.
The Monsoons is a big bar/restaurant/club in Darwin, a really nice place, with a good atmosphere.

After a while, we're joined by Byron, and some others from the preivous tour : Chantal and Michael, Steven, and Jeong Ha.
Byron has just find a job near Daly Waters, and starts tomorrow, so we celebrate (it's also our last day together).

We stay there for a long time, talking, drinking, dancing, and having fun.
A really good night.
